The Bowery Gallery in Chelsea is currently presenting a collection of new paintings by Christine Hartman. For her third solo show at the gallery, Hartman offers detailed still life paintings that illustrate scenes of domestic life and emphasize relationships between vision, nature, and art, very much similar to the style of still lifes by Paul Cezanne almost as though the artist was inspired by the legendary French painter.
