Painting The Town Fund-Raiser

We hope you will consider joining us for our Annual Paint-out & Auction Saturday, October 12 for a day devoted to painting outside in the cool fresh Autumn air.
Forms may be downloaded on our Web site: www.kentart.org or may be picked up at Kent Art Association during gallery hours.  This is an important fund-raiser event to help Kent Art Association keep the gallery open and we encourage members and non-members to participate.  Tell your friends to join us!  Bring a second painting of your choice from your studio for the auction.
You do not have to wait until Saturday to do your painting if there is a problem fitting this into your busy schedule. If you are uncomfortable painting outside, it is possible for you to submit artwork that you have in your studio. People coming to the auction are looking for all kinds of art.  Please bring two pieces of artwork. Everything submitted must be framed, wired, and ready to be hung.
Volunteers are needed to help with this event.  Some of the jobs are receiving during sign-in and morning refreshments. Later when paintings are completed, putting up screens, hanging completed art work , runners during the auction, recording information on bids, passing out paddles, organize and sort art after bid, check out purchased art, and host the pre-auction reception.
To volunteer please e-mail carolynfisherart@gmail.com or leave a voice mail message at 860-355-0334.       Leave your name, number, and how you can help. Thank you in advance for your help with this event.
Let your buyers know that you will be taking part in this Kent Art Association fund-raiser.
Let's make this event a success!

Register, leave studio art, and enjoy refreshments at 9:00 AM.
Bring back completed plein-air work to be hung for preview at 3:00 PM.
Auction begins at 4:00 PM.
