Celebration of Life - Call to Artists!

Celebration of Your Life:  The theme, A Celebration of Your Life, pays tribute to how each of us individually honor and celebrate our lives in a way that brings us joy, meaning and fulfillment.  This exhibit will highlight the diversity of collage that is currently being created in Connecticut by emerging and established artists. The exhibition will be curated by Valerie Culbertson and Meegan Foley and held at the Newtown Municipal Center.

Curated by: Valerie Culbertson, Director of Healing Newtown and Meegan Foley, teaching artist in Southern Fairfield County.
Eligibility:  Open to all artists, 18 years of age and older, residing in Connecticut. Artists may submit up to three pieces of original artwork.  Collage work is limited to: mixed media, low relief which includes text.  All works on paper must be presented framed, under glass, and installation ready using professional hardware and wire. Collage work is not to exceed thirty-six inches square.
