Saturday MARCH 13 Call for Artists at The Kent Art Association begins its Member Show. Accepts representational and non objective original work in oils, watercolors, pastels, graphics, acrylics, small sculpture and artistic collage. Entry fee is $20 for members for up to two pieces and artwork must be hand delivered. Artists can become members at receiving which will take place at The Gallery on Saturday, March 13th from 11 am to 2 pm. Five cash awards will be given. The judges for this show are Edward DeVoe, Marija McCarthy, and Adele Moros. The chairperson is Murielle Duchesne. The show runs from March 14th – April 11th. The Gallery is open throughout the show from Friday thru Sunday 1 pm to 5 pm and is located at 21 South Main Street, Kent CT (Rte. 7, south of the monument).
A free presentation will be offered to members on Saturday, March 13th from 10am – 11am. The topic is “How to Get the Digital Image” presented by Will Kefauver.
