John Kane '76

John Kane's photos helped the Pilobolus Dance Theater web site become
one of five finalist out of hundreds of web site for a 2009 Webby
award for Best use of Photography. Presented this year by David
Bowie, the Webbys are "the internet's highest honor" according to the
New York Times. The Webbys are the Oscars of the internet
I was incredibly happy just to be a finalist" said Kane who works out
of his farm in New Milford where he also hosts the New England
Photographic Workshop. Kane has also, on occasion, taught at WCSU as an adjunct faculty.

John is having the inaugural show at a new gallery in Kent,
CT. It is the annex to the Morrison, so it is important. It is
getting hung now and we will do a hard opening in the near future. Details will follow.
