The Western Connecticut State University concert choir will travel to New Haven on Thursday night (tonight) to perform with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra. The groups will perform “Carmina Burana” as part of School Night at The Symphony.
The students will work with music director William Boughton, who has guest-conducted orchestras around the world, according to a WestConn statement. The New Haven Symphony Orchestra won the Adventurous Programming Award in 2011 and has been featured in several films, radio broadcasts and concerts.
The show begins at 7 p.m. in Woosley Hall, 500 College St., New Haven. Tickets range from $15 to $69 and are available through the New Haven Symphony Orchestra’s website.
