Call for Portrait Artists in CT
We are very pleased to announce that the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists (CSOPA) will be featured in the exhibition space of the Oxford Cultural Arts Commission (OCAC) located @ the Oxford Town Hall for the month of October, 2013. We encourage regional CSOPA members to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to exhibit your work prominently in your local Connecticut community.
Original portrait paintings and drawings in all media, completed within the past three years, are eligible. Works will be juried by a CSOPA selection committee, but not judged for awards. Submission is open to all members of the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists able to deliver and pick-up selected entries to Oxford Town Hall during specified dates and times.
Deadline for submission consideration is August 31st, 2013.

The Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the classic art of portraiture through education. A variety of CSOPA’s sponsored exhibitions, symposia and workshops are scheduled each year to promote its mission. CSOPA conducts monthly meetings offering local portrait artists the opportunity to participate in the business of the organization, as well as to share current work in a supportive and caring critique setting.
It is the mission of OCAC to enhance the quality of life of Oxford citizens and surrounding communities through the support of the arts.
