Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities: One-year position. Direct undergraduate and graduate programs in Art Education in multi-dimensional Art Department at comprehensive state university. Teach courses in Art Education at all levels; advise students, coordinate student teaching, supervise adjunct faculty, participate in department and university committees, liaise with relevant university offices, promote program.
Minimum Qualifications: Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Art Education at time of appointment; experience teaching Art Education on university level; demonstrated ability in program and personnel management; excellent oral and written communication skills; leadership ability.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Art Education program coordination, program assessment, student-teaching coordination, student advisement, navigating state certification programs, teaching art K-12 in public school system.
