Peter Lawrence Gallery announces the First Annual Sculpture Exhibit and Culture Fest with works on display by locally, nationally and internationally recognized sculptors. This fun-filled cultural event will also include musical entertainment performed by Broadway stars, jazz musicians and local talent over the 6-week event. The Sculpture Fest will run from May 12 to June 17, 2012.

There will be two exhibit areas, the inside gallery and the garden. In addition to sculptures and entertainment, the Festival will have available a rotating selection of local artisan delicacies over the 6-week period, including chocolate truffles, hand-made in the French tradition by Carol Monnerat Artisan Truffles of Branford, CT; simply heavenly cakes baked with all natural, allergen-free ingredients by Izzi B’s of Norwalk, CT; and more.              There are two country gift shops adjacent to the Gallery: The Basket Shop and the Carriage Barn, selling New England Americana, and are open to all.

The events will take place on each Saturday and Sunday beginning May 12 through June 17, and on Memorial Day Monday.  There will be no entertainment or food vendors on Fridays, but the Gallery and the Gardens will be open for viewing.

Peter Lawrence Gallery is located at 703 Kent Road (Rt. 7), Gaylordsville, Connecticut, and is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, or by appointment. For more information please contact Peter Lawrence Scalera 203-746-5533, visit sculpturefest2012.com
