The Western Connecticut State University department of theatre arts will perform “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” based on the Emmy Award-winning, 1970s animated series that taught history, grammar, math, science and politics through song. The performance will feature the show’s classic songs such as “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly,” “I’m Just a Bill” and “Conjunction Junction.”
“Schoolhouse Rock Live!” performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012; 3 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012; and 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2012, in the Berkshire Theatre on the university’s Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. The public is invited. Tickets will be $10 plus fees. WCSU students with a valid I.D. will be admitted free.
