2009 Webby Award finalist

John Kane is a 2009 Webby award finalist in the Best use of
Photography For a Web Site. One of three finalist from thousands of
nominations, the images were shot for the 2010 Pilobolus Dance Theater
calendar and were integrated into the companies web site. The Webby
Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the
Internet. Established in 1996 during the Web's infancy, the Webbys are
presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences,
which includes an Executive 750-member body of leading Web experts,
business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities,
and Associate Members who are former Webby Award Winners and Nominees
and other Internet professionals. The Academy is an intellectually
diverse organization that includes members such as musicians Beck and
David Bowie, Internet inventor Vint Cerf and political columnist
Arianna Huffington.

John is a 1976 WCSU grad, an occasional adjunct professor and also a
past winner of a silver medal form the New York Art Director's Club.

Jamison Odone, (M.F.A. illustration 2010) is initiating a series of children’s books written and illustrated by him, entitled Stickfiguratively Speaking. The series, to be published by Publishing Works, Inc. of Exeter, New Hampshire, will be introduced on March 5th with the first book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Although still a student, Jamison is already highly recognized in the children’s publishing field through his earlier books "Honey Badgers" and "Bedtime Train".
