Mary Lou Alberetti

On Sunday, May 1, from 6:30 PM-9:00 PM, Lexington's Cary Memorial Library Foundation will sponsor the third Cary Library Art Sale and SoirĂ©e (CLASS 3) — an evening of art, music, and community at 1874 Massachusetts Avenue. The event, which will take place throughout the library, will feature music by the Lexington High School Jazz Combo and works of art for sale by 40 invited artists.
It's a great opportunity to buy art and to mingle with art lovers, friends, and members of the community. Mary Lou Alberetti will exhibit 12 architectural reliefs. Her work is also included in the auction to follow.

Visual artists experience the world more intensely than most people, and their vision can expand our knowledge and enjoyment of everything around us. Because CLASS 3 profiles both well-known and emerging artists, pieces will be available to suit many budgets.

From their website, The CCT Arts Division develops and strengthens the arts in Connecticut and makes artistic experiences widely available to residents and visitors. Through its grant programs, the division invests in Connecticut artists and arts organizations and encourages the public’s participation as creators, learners, supporters, and audience members. Through its program and services, the division connects people to the arts and helps to build vital communities across the state. To find out more about their grants, foundation and opportunities, review the site regularly because they have strict deadlines. CT Commission website link.
