Works should depict various means of transportation (cars, trains, planes, boats, etc.) or be constructed with re-purposed parts. Works may be representational or abstract. This show will run from September 22 through October 31, 2014 in the Art Gallery at ESCAPE to the Arts, Danbury, CT. For guidelines and an entry form, call ESCAPE to the Arts at 203.794.1413 or visit www.regionalymca.org.

Wires must be securely fastened with hooks on the back of the frame. Wire must not extend above top of frame. No saw tooth or loop hangers permitted.
Works in the following mediums should also be protected behind glass (or plexi-glass): watercolor, printmaking, pastel, graphite and photography. Works that are not properly framed will not be accepted.

For heavy sculptures and large 3-dimensional works, we may require your assistance during installation.

The Regional YMCA reserves the right to reject any and all works of art submitted for exhibition that do not meet the proper specifications as described above.

Art work must remain on display through the duration of the exhibition including works that are sold.

Jamison Odone

Jamison writes, "Hey folks,
Just wanted to shoot out an email before the weekend.
My new book, Lies In The Dust: A Tale Of Remorse From The Salem Witch Trials was just given a great write-up in The Boston Globe today. Here's the link: Lies In The Dust review

Being in the Globe feels kinda cool since I went to college there. Feels like I must be doing something right with my life.

This is my first graphic novel...but also my first book under the pen name of Jakob Crane. In 2015 it is looking like it will also hit the stage as a play! So now I have to write the play...

So the reason for this email...well of course is to promote my book but also to say that if any of you tweet please follow and mention @jakobcrane or #liesinthedust and I will forever be in your debt.

Because after all--he is exactly as cool as me:)

Be well,"
