Greater Danbury Open House Day, Art Culture and History

June 9, 2012 

Greater Danbury Open House Day will consist of arts, culture, and history events at venues in greater Danbury as part of the state of Connecticut’s Open House Day on June 9, 2012 including exhibits, artisan demos, performances, and special activities.

On June 2nd, Danbury Public Schools will presents the fourth annual CoDA Festival (Celebration of Danbury's Arts) on June 2 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Danbury High School. The free event is open to all.

The Fine and Applied Arts departments from all Danbury schools will have artwork, coursework, and robots on display throughout the day. There will be free art activities and face painting for children, plus music performances and family activities.

Food made by the Culinary Department of Danbury High School will be sold and a new CoDA Cone ice cream dessert will be introduced.
