First Street Gallery is pleased to announce its first exhibition of the season, New Work / New Space. The show is a comprehensive exhibition of work by gallery artists, and will be presented in First Street's beautiful, large new space at 526 West 26th Street, NYC, Suite 209.
First Street Gallery, one of New York's oldest artist-run galleries, represents work of an extremely diverse group of artists who are dedicated to figuration in the visual arts—in all of its varied manifestations. Style and approach among the gallery artists demonstrate an extensive range of aesthetic sensibility, as well as an engagement with a broad array of subject matter and multi-media. Landscapes, the figure, portraits, cityscapes, interiors, narrative, still-life and other forms of genre painting are among the lively themes.
