Pop Up Art Bethel’s holiday show

Fine Arts and Crafts at Pop Up Art Bethel’s Second Run By Pop Up Art Productions

More than sixteen local artists are on display at Pop Up Art Bethel’s holiday show, hosted by local residents Frank Kara and Michael Seri from November 24 through January 6.

The first Pop Up Art Bethel show in June, 2012 was a huge success, said Kara, and convinced him and Seri to do it again in December.

“Lots of people are unaware just how much really good art is being made in the area,” said Kara. “This show gives everyone a chance to see the kind of creativity that goes on in Bethel. Plus, people who come to the gallery might find the perfect, locally made holiday gift. Can I say that art is the gift that keeps on giving?”

Pop Up Art Bethel is housed in a building that was formerly a sign shop. The wide, open space with its white walls and lots of natural light lends itself perfectly for displaying a variety of artistic mediums.

Pop Up Art Bethel is located at 161 Greenwood Avenue, across from Bethel Cinema. An opening reception will take place on Saturday, November 24 from 5-8 pm. Regular gallery hours are Friday and Saturday from 2-9pm and Sunday noon-7pm. For more information, call (203)994-2756.
