Joel Spector called me to remind me that The Artist Magazine is running one of his paintings in the March issue and that the painting was selected and won an award. Joel will send a copy of the painting to add here.
Other news from Joel is that he was commissioned by the Players Club in NYC to do a portrait of the actor Eli Wallach for their Hall of Fame Award. Joel met with the actor and is now working on the portrait. He added that I will get a copy of the image once it's completed for our display.
Joel was hired by The American Cancer Society to illustrate a children's picture book, and is up for two more books this spring.
